...

ive been trying to think for more ideas but nothing good is coming to me so i'll prob have to stick with the mouldy fruit for now...
and for planning, i'll prob just get a few fruits (cut into the same size) from each type of fruit, place it in paper plates and leave it in the garage and i'll check every day to see if it grew moulds, and i'll keep a themometre somewhere near there so i can keep track of the temperature
independent variable- time, fruit
dependent variable- amount of moulds
Controlled variables- location, quantity, temperature, same measuring eqiupment
and i might repeat the process with other fruits just to make sure that its done correctly
it'll be something like this...

  1. Carol- be careful with your wording- the mould isn't "attracted" to any particular fruit. It is found in the air (all good- this is normal!) and then settles on substances which they can live on. Mould spores then grow using those substances...

You might not be able to determine the TYPE of mould- there are many different types... which makes it a bit harder to make the process fair.

You need to make sure you alter your experiment just a little bit so that you are able to fairly determine the results.
